Living shamanically!
Can you live shamanically in the middle of a city? I say YES!
Living shamanically means I respect Mother Earth and feel I am an integral part of it. I am as important to this earth as is anything else and I include rocks, plants, animals and humans and all that lives beyond our seeing eyes.
It also means to live in the present and travel into the past and into the future. I am responsible for my own life, for my happiness and for my abundance. Nobody else is responsible and I accept graciously all gifts that I get and I gift and share with pleasure.
All the above is not related to a place. There are people who go into the forest and totally disrespect nature and there are people in the middle of a city and totally respect nature and of course, the other way around.
The way you feel connected to your loved ones during a trip, to those who stayed at home – I am sure many people relate to this – is also the way we relate to everything.
When Bucharest has 40 degrees C in summer and I walk down Calea Dorobantilor, I thank every tree along the road for its shadow. At the beginning they were kind of astonished, but now they see me coming and we interact and let go. I love those walks and Bucharest is full of trees, not only in the parks. There are those little bushes who are like little rascals and the evergreen that sticks out into the sidewalk like it wants to touch the passersby – beautiful plant spirits everywhere.
And I might repeat myself – living shamanically is not a religion. Being conscious about your spiritual being goes much beyond any religious dogma.
Living a shamanic life goes everywhere with me, this is my choice and my purpose!
